Panthers News · Cecil Flowe to be Inducted into the GACA Hall of Fame


Parkview Legend, Coach Cecil Flowe will be inducted into the Georgia Athletic Coaches Association Hall of Fame in June of 2021.

Born in Charlotte, N.C., he attended Columbia High School and he is a graduate of the University of Georgia.

Coach Flowe was the Parkview High School Head Football Coach for 21 years.

His record was 197-67, with 4 State Championships, 3 in a row, and at one
time had 45 straight victories. He was state runner-up twice and was
Region Champion 6 times. 17 of his first 19 teams went to the quarterfinals or better.

He also coached wrestling for 7 years, 3 years at Sequoyah High School and
4 years at Stone Mountain High winning 71.4 per cent of the team matches.
Coach Flowe and his wife Penny have two children, Shelby and Patrick. He
will be inducted on June 5, 2021 in Dalton, Ga. where the GACA Hall of
Fame is located.
