2018-19 Sun Belt Conference Commissioner’s List
SOPHOMORE (2020): Appeared in four games, starting all four… Posted an 0-2 record and pitched 24.0 innings… Allowed eight runs and struck out 16 batters… Was pegged with the no decision twice this season…
FRESHMAN (2019): Played in 12 games with eight starts…Posted a 1-6 record and pitched 42.2 innings…Win came against UT-Arlington 5-3 on Mar. 16 where he pitched 5.0 innings and threw two strikeouts.
PREP: Coached by Chan Brown at Parkview High School… Named All-County, All-Region and All-State… Second Team Collegiate Baseball All-American… Went 10-1 as a junior with an 0.97 ERA… Also played for Team Elite Prime with coach Brad Borus… Named Second Team Perfect Game 16U Tournament All-American in 2016.
PERSONAL: Born Braden Patrick Hays on January 19, 2000… Son of Jeff and Nancy Hays… Has an older brother, Eric… Uncle, Kenny Hays, played baseball at Tennessee.
