Panthers News · Girls XC Wins County Championship, Boys Finish 2nd Overall

For the first time since 1997, Parkview’s Girls Cross Country team claimed victory at the Gwinnett County Cross Country Championships!  Leading the way was freshman Abi Debebe who took 5th overall.  Claire Mills and Elise Musser took 10th and 11th which gives the Lady Panthers three All-County recognitions.  Haley Primm, Gabby Draper, and Emma Geaney also ran well for us as we put 6 in the top 20 and dominated the race from start to finish.

The boys took 2nd overall.  Tristan Autry took 4th overall while Caden Hall and Andrew Todd were 11th and 12th.  Yonatan Tekle placed 15th to give the Panthers 4 All-County nods.  Heyabel Tekle and Trey Durden placed in the top 30.
Brian Graham won the overall JV Championship and was followed closely by Nahom Kibreab and Martin Robles who took 2nd and 3rd.
Zhari Maxineau and Genevieve Duffield took the top 2 spots in the JV Girls’ Open Race.
